We have three very
experienced dentists
Owners, Dr Cushla Batchelor-Hynd and Dr Richard Young and our Associate dentist, Dr Sundar Jagadeesan. All three are New Zealand registered and members of the New Zealand Dental Association, with Cushla also being a Member of the New Zealand Maori Dental Association. They are continually updating their knowledge and skills by attending continuing education courses held throughout the year in New Zealand and overseas. This keeps them up to date with the latest technology, techniques and products.
Richard, has been with this Practice since 1995 when he graduated from Otago University Dental School. Cushla, also a graduate of Otago University Dental School, took over from John Southall when he retired, buying his half of the Practice while she was working at the Dental / Maxillofacial Dept of Waikato Public Hospital. Sundar has recently moved from Greymouth to permanently join our Practice.

The Practice offers you a wide range of dental treatment such as implants, dentures, bridges, crowns, veneers, whitening, white fillings, root canal treatment, extraction of all teeth including wisdom teeth and cosmetic dentistry.
For those of you who are uneasy visiting the dentist we can also offer you IV (intravenous) sedation or relative analgesia (gas) if you require it to calm and relax you while you are having your treatment. We have the latest digital x-ray equipment which instantly helps with diagnosis.
We are only too happy to discuss any treatment you would like or have heard about and wish to explore it a little more. We also provide estimates to all patients if you ask for them including WINZ and Study Link estimates. ACC patients are also welcome with ACC (if your claim is approved) paying up to 80% of your account. School pupils between the ages of 13 and 18 are treated at no cost.

DiscountsDiscounts are offered to students, Gold Card holders and a few other select groups. We show our gratitude to those that service the community, such as the Police, Fire Service, Teachers and Waikato Public Hospital staff, by also offering them a discount. ID must be shown to qualify. |

This is all the fashion in Europe and is fast becoming a ‘must have’ addition to a perfect smile.
